I feel like I haven't posted anything here for ages!! I figured out the other day that I am just over half way through my America adventure!!! It was exactly halfway on the 3 April!!!! Crazy stuff! :D I don't feel I have much to tell ya'll about... I have been super busy with homework this last week and the other week I did something social every night of the week!! I had dinner and a movie with friends, Bible study x3, international dinner (where I cooked Aussie dessert!), more movie and dinner with other friends, and dinner with a whole bunch of college students at a super lovely families house!! (they have 4 daughters and reminded me so much of my beautiful Taylor girls!)
Here are the beautiful lamingtons I made for our international dinner :)
And the not so fabulous pavlova I tried to make :P
In other news... I bought this amazing crocheted headband :)
...and a proper cowgirl shirt :) I feel I now fit in here in Bozeman
And another thing is that MY PARENTS AND SISTER ARE IN AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not that excited... really :P They are flying into Las Vegas and motorhoming all the way up to Canada with a week-long stop here in Bozeman!!!!! :D I am so so so excited!!! Here's a photo of them at the airport with Hayden... he couldn't come because he has uni :P so dodgy! Aren't they are beautiful bunch?!?!
Also this is my favourite photo at the moment :) Sophie's cyber hug! I am seriously looking forward to a real one super soon!!!!!!!
Hey, we can wear cowgirl shirts and match! I just bought a flannie the other weekend :) I LOVE it! I never knew flannies were SO good!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you're still having fun! I've never made lamingtons from scratch before... I should do that some time! I did make a pavlova this week, but I think I've got some technique perfecting to do :)
Love you! Have fun with your family! xo
